A few weeks ago, i got my new type s steering wheel in the mail. And now she is actually in the car! I didnt even have to use a steering wheel puller. Real men pull it off with their bare hands! I apologize for the photography, its night so i used a flash attachment. Ill shoot some more another day with proper lighting. But the flash pops that red stitch nicely!
This was the first time i worked with airbags, so i felt a bit nervous at times. Like im holding a bomb or something. I suppose now i hope that the new (used) airbag is healthy and would deploy in case of a problem.
here is the before:
The ultimate goal is to find very good condition oem prelude rest stitched leather seats... and if im lucky, with the canadian seat heater option. one can dream....(not my car in pic below)
But i may also weight the possibility of s2000 seats. And if i can find them, NSX seats can also fit. I may or may not look into getting the seats that i would get restitched with red. But that all depends when i find good seats, so im not in a rush.
Also, my fog light kit should be going in soon. Just have to pick up some hardware. And soon my painted rear lip will go on as well! Waiting on a part order on lots of little bolts and clips. And last but not least, my type s intake will go on at the same time.
August will be a good month!

I've always thought Preludes looked fantastic. I drive a 99 Civic EX and was hoping to find a Prelude back when I bought my car. Sadly, the only one I could find in my 6k budget my parents gave me had some lambo doors. Looked very similar to this one:
Same color, everything was pretty much stock except for the fuckin lambo doors. Way to ruin a great looking car.

At least you have the best looking (imo) body style civic. If its the coupe, you have a very good base to work off of.
Dear oh my. Lambo doors. Not a fan either. But if it was that color. The eucalyptus green, and ficus green were rarer paint colors. And with tan interiors they look absolutely classy!

Awesome dude! It's relatively rare finding someone who deeply appreciates their Honda and still wants to keep it how it was meant with a few minor OEM tweaks without going hellainsanestancejdmebayledfartcannonblackedoutyellowfogsbluehidheadlights. Clean ride.

I've always thought my Civic kinda looked like a stupid bunny.
This car is identical to mine, but sadly mine has quite a few "character marks."
But I don't mind because the interior is pristine and it's my first car. It truly is a fantastic car though. Honda was really on their game in the late 90s early 2000s. My dad is getting ready to trade his 00 Accord (hopefully for a Toyobaru), and I have to say, both his Accord and my Civic are two of the more communicative and enjoyable cars I've driven.

Well, the base models kinda look funny because they are so bland. But when you option them out in SI goodies, they get much better. My prelude has a few character marks as well, but id have to point them out for anyone to notice. And i tend to think the front of my car looks like a praying mantis head...
You know, anything honda made pre 2001 (exception is s2000) was quite frankly a very well thought out and genuine good car on both the sporty and DD platforms.
I hope he gets the subayota too. Its slowly becoming the choice for my next car once i have the cash to get a 2nd one. However, that could change depending how much r32's will be costing when they legally hit shores next year...
